ALGASL Conducts Disaster Management Training in Baligubadle District
Baligubadle, May 2, 2025 – Recognizing the critical importance of local government capacity building amid recurring droughts in Somaliland, the Association of Local Government Authorities of Somaliland (ALGASL), with support from the Danwadaag Program, conducted a disaster management training for the administration and staff of Baligubadle District.
The training focused on enhancing skills and knowledge in disaster preparedness, risk assessment, emergency response, and community engagement, equipping district officials to respond effectively to hazards and minimize risks to local communities.

Salaxley, April 29, 2025 – The Association of Local Government Authorities of Somaliland (ALGASL), in partnership with the Danwadaag Program, conducted a comprehensive disaster management training for the administration and staff of Salaxley District.
