The Association of Local Governments of Somaliland (ALGASL) together with VNG conducted training on disaster management at the district level for the local councils of Hargeisa, Gabiley, Baki, Lughaya, Saylac, Borama, Salahley, and Baligubadle.

This two-day training will be analyzed and discussed on Disaster Risk Management at the local level and disasters that occur in the Districts, Solutions, policies (Sandai framework), and collaboration mechanisms between various government and international agencies.

And the decentralization process on DRM Functions To Streamline them at the District Level.
